Private Passenger Automobile

A private passenger automobile is a vehicle that is not made for commercial or business use. The distinction is made for the difference in vehicle insurance premiums. For example, sedans are more for personal use, that is, unless these are specifically made as company or business vehicles. The same would apply for vehicles that are originally for personal use that are converted for business use.
